# Wallets & Networks

MidasPredict runs on LitVM, a Litecoin Layer 2. To trade, your tokens need to be on the LitVM network.

***

## Connecting a Wallet

Click **Connect Wallet** on MidasPredict and choose:

* **MetaMask** — LitVM is EVM-compatible, so MetaMask works. The app will prompt you to add the LitVM network.
* **WalletConnect** — Connect any WalletConnect-compatible wallet.
* **Litecoin-compatible wallets** — Supported wallets for the Litecoin ecosystem.
* **Embedded wallet** — Create an account directly through the platform.

***

## Depositing Funds

After connecting, deposit into your MidasPredict account:

* **zkLTC** — Litecoin's native representation on LitVM
* **Stablecoins** — USDC, USDT
* **Partner tokens** — as supported

***

## Bridging from Litecoin L1

If you hold LTC on Litecoin L1:

1. Use the **LitVM bridge** (BitcoinOS / Charms) to lock LTC on L1
2. Receive fully backed **zkLTC** on LitVM
3. Deposit zkLTC into MidasPredict

The bridge is trustless — no custodial wrapping.

***

## Gas Fees

Gas on LitVM is sub-cent per transaction. A few dollars of zkLTC covers a very long time of trading.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://midashand-1.gitbook.io/midaspredict/knowledge-base/wallets-and-networks.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
